After-hours Emergency Care

AFTER-HOURS VETERINARY SERVICES HAVE CHANGED IN REGINA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA EFFECTIVE MARCH 1ST, 2024.

From October 1, 2023 to March 1, 2024 a number of veterinary clinics in the city and surrounding area joined together to be on-call for life-threatening emergencies only from 8 pm to 8 am daily. Effective March 1, 2024, the 24 HR Animal Care Centre is available for after-hours urgent and emergent cases and there will no longer be an on-call veterinary clinic. We strongly encourage you to read this information so you are informed on these changes as they can affect you in a potential time of crisis.

Hospital Policies

  • Our exam rooms have seating for two people. We ask that no more than two people accompany your pet for their appointment. We offer curbside appointments if you need to bring more than one person with you. During curbside appointments, we will ask that you remain in your vehicle with them while we care for your pet.

  • We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early for your appointment. We typically have a very full schedule and late arrivals may not be seen. It is crucial for us to have an adequate amount of time to care for your pet and to help us stay on schedule. Arriving late for your appointment does not give us enough time to complete the appointment and would affect all of the clients after you. Please call us as soon as possible if you will not make your appointment time and we can cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • We require appointments to be cancelled at least 1 hour before their scheduled time. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 1 hour or you do not show up for your appointment, we may require a deposit to book future appointments.

  • We only accept Visa, Mastercard, and Debit payments. We do not accept cash.

  • We ask anyone who enters our hospital to wear a face mask if they are feeling unwell. We can provide a mask if needed. If you prefer to remain in your vehicle due to illness, we can offer a curbside appointment. We greatly appreciate your consideration for our safety.

To care is to have compassion as well as empathy.  Our desire is to help others in need. Both human and animal.
