Dr. Sheila Nicol was born & raised in Regina where she studied chemistry & microbiology at U of R. After 6 years working as a virology lab technician, Dr. Nicol attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of S where she graduated in 1995. Following graduation Dr. Nicol settled into mixed practice at Sherwood Animal Clinic located just outside of Regina City limits. There she worked until 2003, when she then joined the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, two months before the BSE outbreak. After some family time off, Dr. Nicol returned to small animal practice in 2006 and worked to 2012 at Wascana Animal Hospital. In the spring of 2013, Dr. Nicol joined the team of veterinarians at Airport Animal Hospital to help support the growing hospital.
